Bob has been a long-time friend of Faith in the Family International. Bob served as a board member of Faith in the Family until he was called to create his own Member Ministry, Renewing Total Worship. This ministry focuses on Bob’s primary calling: a teaching, training, and coaching ministry for churches and pastors to elevate preaching and worship to a higher level. Bob has over 25 years of senior pastoral ministry experience and served a three year tenure as vice president of the National Association of Evangelicals.

“This pastor of 27 years and former vice president of the National Association of Evangelicals is dealing with his own perfect storm: In 2005 he was diagnosed with sarcoidosis, an incurable lung disease. So both as pastor and person, he knows about adversity. Thankfully, he avoids the narcissism usually found in the genre, and instead anchors the books in Jesus’ farewell discourse, John 13-16. Add Wenz’s uncommon sense and flashes of insight, and you have a solid and wise book on suffering.”
